DocuWare REQUEST allows you to cut selected documents to media like USB sticks, external hard drives and DVD’s.  Exported with all the software needed to view/search the documents the exported media requires no windows programs to view the content – It is a fully functional, self contained autonomous DocuWare File Cabinet.

You are able to export entire File Cabinet’s (say for information sharing or long term archive) or selected sub-set s of documents (perhaps to give to your auditor or to a customer).

The REQUEST client displays all common file formats, even if the corresponding third party program is not installed – so you can, for example, view CAD drawings even when there is no CAD software on your system.

You can also use REQUEST to transfer documents from one DocuWare system to another.

Detailed below are some examples of how you might use DocuWare REQUEST;

A client requests copies of all documents/correspondence that relates to him from his solicitor

A solicitor’s correspondence with his client might contain many versions of contracts, e-mails between them, fee notes, minutes of meetings ... whatever the information these can be cut to a DVD and sent to the client as a lasting, complete record.

These documents cannot be amended or altered in any way.

Distribute Staff Training and Technical Libraries

You may want to make up a knowledgebase for sharing and distribute staff training libraries.  These can be cut to DVD and sent to staff members who can search and view these documents off line, perhaps at home or on a client’s site from their laptop.
