Access Documents Directly Out of Accounting Programs, ERP and Other Applications
So all the documents you need are now in DocuWare, but in order to be most productive you should be able to access this information from within the applications that you are working with every day.
The LINK module lets you easily integrate documents filed in DocuWare within existing applications, such as an accounting or ERP system. With a few clicks of the mouse, you can access all documents that belong to the current needs of your application – for example, the shipping documents belonging to an accounting record being processed.
Virtually any windows based application will permit information to be extracted (and most older legacy systems) which is used as search criteria by DocuWare which then automatically displays documents or lists of documents.

Signed Delivery Notes Available from your Sales Ledger and SOP Screens
Your customer calls the accounts department and queries a delivery made last week. You click on the outstanding invoice within the sales ledger and on an icon to display the signed delivery note – it appears on screen immediately with options to e-mail to the customer automatically – A signed delivery note the customer in seconds.
A Doctors Appointment Diary Automatically Displays the Prescriptions Issued
The DocuWare system within a GP’s surgery might be set up to automatically display any prescriptions issued to the patient. The status of the prescription could be shown with a date that it was dispensed by the pharmacy.
