WEB DESIGN

Not every business needs to trade on the internet, but if you are to expand your market and let people know where you are and what you do then you do need a web presence.  The AMAS web design team lets you avoid the expensive learning curve and do it right first time.

AMAS offers a complete range of design, implementation and hosting services to get your business on the web and lets you express your business the way you want it to be seen. Our starter packages range from £500.

The Web Design Process

1. Web Site Strategy

We begin the process of building your web site by completing a web strategy document that will give us an understanding of your business, what you wants from a web presence and the style of site that would best portray your business.  From this strategy document we agree a concept deign – a blueprint upon which we can base our web design.

2. Structural Design

A web site structural design is created.  This includes page templates showing how the site will be put together and includes all the common page elements such as navigation methods, structural graphics and logo’s.  Once this has been agreed we can look at the actual web content.

3. Page Content

Once the structural design is accepted the actual content of the web site must be put together.  You must provide the information you wish to have in your web site.  We collate this information and add graphics and pictures to provide the best presentation that matches the style we have agreed in the web strategy.

4. Database Links

Many web sites require to gather data and have their sites dynamically linked to other applications.  These are added in the final stages of the web design although they may be developed in parallel if they are significant applications in their own right.

5. Search Engine Strategy

We look at your priorities and how you want to be found on the web.  We look at the meta tags you want and discuss your requirements for search engine presentation.

6. Testing

The site must be tested and any issues resolved before it is presented as your company web site.

7. Approval and Sign Off

Finally, we will have the web site just as you want it.  At this point it is signed off as complete and you go onto an ongoing support agreement that ensures your web site is maintained and kept up to date.
